You’ve almost certainly heard of MorphMarket if you’re in the reptile community. We use MorphMarket to display almost all of our available reptiles. Visit our MorphMarket store to view most of our available reptiles. We sometimes don’t list certain species for sale as we are pretty selective when it comes to people we sell to. Our Uroplatus are an example of this.
Shipping
We use Ship Your Reptiles for all of our live animal shipping. All reptiles are shipped via overnight FedEx, ensuring the chances of any mishaps during shipping are minimal.
We will drop your reptile off at our local FedEx facility as late in the day as possible, usually around 6 p.m. This will ensure that your reptile is not sitting in a FedEx facility for any longer than it needs to. Your reptile will arrive at its destination first thing in the morning of the following day. Sometimes, our reptiles are in transit for less than 12 hours.
FedEx Hubs vs Residential
Where your reptile is delivered can make a big difference. We prefer to always ship to your local FedEx hub or any FedEx facility that accepts live animals. We want to avoid having your reptile in the back of a delivery truck, which is almost always not climate-controlled. This means that your reptile could spend hours in the back of a truck in less-than-ideal situations. If your weather is too hot or cold, the reptile could be subjected to these extreme temperatures, sometimes with deadly consequences.
When your reptile is shipped to your local FedEx, all those worries are not a concern. Your reptile will be held in a climate-controlled location, waiting for you to pick it up. We encourage you to pick up your reptile as soon as possible. Please do not leave your reptile sitting at FedEx for any longer than is absolutely necessary.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We offer a live arrival guarantee on all reptiles purchased through us. This means that if, for any reason, your reptile is Dead on Arrival (DOA), we will replace it with the same kind of animal. If this isn’t possible, we will offer you a store credit or a complete refund—it is your decision.
While DOAs are luckily very rare, it can happen. Rest assured that Nealon Reptiles has your back and will do anything we can to make the situation right.
There are exceptions to our Live Arrival Guarantee. The most obvious is that you must pick up your reptile as soon as it is available at FedEx. We give you a one-hour grace period because we know things can happen – bad traffic, etc. If your reptile is still waiting to be picked up for longer than one hour, our live arrival guarantee is null and void.
In addition, if you choose to have your reptile shipped to your residence, you must be there to receive it on the first attempt. If you are not, our live arrival guarantee is null and void, and we will not sell to you in the future. We take your responsibility to ensure a safe arrival very seriously.
Health Guarantee
We also guarantee that your reptile will arrive healthy and in good shape. We do not even list reptiles for sale if we’re not 110% sure every aspect of that reptile is healthy. You will receive a healthy and happy reptile on the right track for a long and healthy life.
After 24 hours, our Health Guarantee expires. You are responsible for ensuring that your reptile’s enclosure is set up properly and you understand their husbandry requirements. We offer lifetime support for anyone who purchases a reptile. So, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
