Founded by Tim Nealon, Nealon Reptiles is a respected reptile breeding facility located in Louisiana. Our goal is to do our part in elevating the Reptile industry, breeding endangered reptiles and changing people’s minds about reptiles.

One of the World's Leading Uroplatus Facilities
One of our specialities is working with the Uroplatus genus from Madagascar. We maintain a breeding collection of 12 Species with over 600 Uroplatus with an eye on keeping these geckos healthy and thriving.
We love our Chameleons
We love working with our Chameleons. One of our goals moving into 2025 and beyond is to develop a respected Parsons Chameleon Breeding facility – hopefully one of the best too!
Located in Southern Louisiana, our Facility was designed specifically for the animals we work with. We have 3 buildings totaling over 13,000 Square Feet dedicated to the care and breeding of the Reptiles we work with. We also have numerous outdoor enclosures for our animals which thrive outdoors, like our Chameleons.
While Tim certainly loves his reptiles, there is no way he could care for all of them without his team. Meet our team of Reptile Lovers!

The next few years will see Nealon Reptiles taking on even more demanding and endangered species as we expand our efforts in conservation breeding. We are committed to advancing our husbandry techniques and working with species that are difficult to keep and breed in captivity. This includes refining our approach to caring for delicate reptiles, learning from each experience, and sharing that knowledge with the reptile community.
As we evolve, our focus will remain on positively impacting the survival of endangered reptiles. By taking on the most challenging species, we aim to set a standard for reptile conservation, lead the way in sustainable breeding practices, and help ensure that these amazing creatures continue to thrive for generations to come.
